In this mixed methods study, we engaged nearly 100 Minnesota service providers through interviews, learning sessions and surveys. Our exploration focused on referral pathways, obstacles to equitable support, and gaps that compound trauma for boys and male-identified youth. The findings confirm the urgent need for vital policy reforms to nurture resilience and safety among this group.

We will be sharing information regarding our pilot project to diminish prevalence by bankrupting the business of human trafficking and measuring results.

What’s nursing got to do with it?  Probably a question that you don’t associate with human trafficking but we at CSTIP believe nursing has a lot to do with it.  Did you know that according to some studies 88-92% of victims seek medical care while they are being trafficked?  What an opportunity to not only provide victim services but to also help prevent victimization.
